On Tuesday evening, I attended my very first Meetup event here in Chicago. It was a great event since I want to get in front of offline businesses to sell my online services to.
Anyway, I made some great connections there with several business owners and they were very intrigued at what I was telling them about online video marketing. They had no idea videos create a huge opportunity for them to rank in the search engines.
What was most surprising is I learned many of these businesses were paying anywhere between $1000 – $3000 for a monthly SEO service.
But, when I showed them what I could do with video, they were completely sold. In fact, although it was my first Meetup meeting, they asked me to do a presentation to the group of 45 on how to leverage video to bring in new clients and increase their sales.
Talk about a good meeting.
